Consultant Psychiatrist

For me, psychiatry is more than just a profession—it’s a calling. I believe deeply in treating each patient the way I would hope to be treated myself: with compassion, respect, and thoughtful attention to their individual journey.

I completed my residency training in General Adult Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Following residency, I served as an Assistant Professor at Baylor while also building a private practice. This dual experience gave me a strong foundation in both academic and clinical psychiatry.

In 2018, life brought me to the UAE—a transition that has been both enriching and transformative. Since then, I’ve worked in outpatient psychiatry, offering evidence-based, personalized care to a diverse patient population.

My approach is collaborative and integrative, often blending medication management with psychotherapy. I take the time to understand each patient’s unique needs and tailor a treatment plan accordingly. I also bring a strong psychotherapeutic lens to my work, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities.

I have a special interest in women’s mental health and perinatal psychiatry, which grew from my time at the Texas Children’s Hospital Pavilion for Women during residency. I also have extensive experience treating Mood Disorders such as Major Depression and Bipolar disorder, Anxiety Disorders, OCD, ADHD, PTSD, Psychotic Disorders including Schizophrenia, Addictive Disorders, Personality Disorders, and Neurocognitive Disorders.

Helping individuals regain a sense of control, meaning, and wellbeing in their lives is what continues to inspire me every day.
