Coming into contact with those that are struggling with their mental health can be really challenging and we can often feel that we are lacking the tools to have those conversations. Psychological first aid is designed to enable employers and colleagues to identify and support mental health needs of people within their organisation, whilst also providing them the confidence to have the all-important conversations. Its aim is to improve psychological wellbeing and therefore foster short and long-term adaptive functioning and coping.
